Bring Our Troops Home - We Have a Bigger War!

DANGERS OF BRINKMANSHIP IN WASHINGTON, DC
President Obama said on July 6, 2011 that he was possibly looking at deploying National Guard troops to contain cartel gang violence as his administration has been closely watching the cartel gang movement. President Obama really was hoping to keep a lid on this border mess until after his 2012 Presidential Re-Election bid. Obama Political Strategy:  Play a Game of Chickensh*t with the Cartel Gangs - Looking ~ Watching & Hoping!

For decades, the U.S. has not tackled this major issue of our times, yielding to political brinkmanship. Mexican President Felipe Calderon says the violence is one measure of success: It shows that the cartels have been hurt badly and are now lashing out at his government and one another. With each passing year Mexican Drug War Games become more dangerous because U.S. citizens on the border are now the game pieces too.

Obama has pushed it to the brink, the absolute edge of the precipice to enforce aggressive police action, because he needs the Mexican-American vote and any adverse aggression towards cartels, even well intentioned, would appear as oppressive action against law-abiding Hispanic people crossing our borders or living here.

The violence in Mexico involves four major drug cartels fighting each other for territories and drug smuggling routes. Three cartels control most of the border region between the countries and now may be forming alliances with each drug cartel. The Federation, or Sinaloa cartel, is fighting for a larger area of the border and is attempting to negotiate a truce with the Gulf Cartel.

Whether the cartels work together or not, the bloodshed in Mexico is expected to get worse, as the U.S. further clamps down, secures border areas and tried to stem the flow of narcotics. This truce would be a death sentence for anyone along the border that opposes these drug cartels.

Over 35,000 Mexicans have been murdered by the Cartels!

This violent carnage now is in American Cities. The true national priority question is: Why does Obama build infrastructure, bridges first, to create Union jobs to get votes and does not build outerstructure, border security fences first, to create Union jobs to get votes?  ...Duh, the huge Chicano Voter base!

Please Cry for me Argentina!

FEDERAL CRIMINAL CHARGES FILED

Saturday - July 9, 2011 - The Federal Government has filed criminal charges against the managers of an economic consulting firm, escalating its prosecution of independent economists. A federal court official said Friday that a judge is evaluating the charges to decide appropriate action in investigations into the charges.  Further, the criminal complaint alleges that data also lead to speculative behavior in the bond market.  According to officials at the National Statistics Agency,  the consumer prices rose 9.7% from a year ago, not annual inflation surpassing 20% as stated by virtually all other economists, angering government officials who dismiss inflation as a national problem.

Why enter into the eye of a Hurricane when you have time to avoid it?

That news story about the Federal Government is absolutely mind numbing to see happen. If we did not have our United States Constitution, it could be a reality like that which just happened in Argentina this week. According to the Wall Street Journal, 'the criminal complaint, initiated by the Commerce Secretariat, is the worst in a series of legal measures against economists.'

So, the century-old saying, "Figures don't lie, but liars do figure" still holds true. In this case,  it is the government who wants to keep the lid on inflation by deflecting blame to others like private independent economists. That bombastic rhetoric sure sounds real familiar these days before the upcoming Presidential 2012 Election Day!

'The United States economic decline precariously resembles Argentina's economic collapse, which started in 1998 and landed Argentina in a depression by the end of 2000. What began in Argentina as a recession mushroomed into a full-fledged depression due to bad economic and monetary policy. The Obama administration and its congressional Democrat lackeys are on the precipice of following Argentina's disastrous economic and monetary policy decisions.' [1]

So,  Obama's answer to pay down the United States debt woes are similar to Argentina.  'Many economists recognize, though they many not publicly admit it, that inflation is the only feasible alternative. The government is limited to three possible revenue sources: taxing, borrowing, and inflating. Any sensible person realizes the country cannot tax its way out of a $13-trillion debt or sustain existing entitlement programs, much less government-run health care. The government borrows money by selling government-backed securities to investors. Eventually, investors will either stop purchasing government securities or demand substantially higher interest rates due to the increased risk. The only feasible alternative is to monetize the debt -- in other words, Inflate it.'  [2]

Health of Gov’t Health Care: Lack of Water Forces Patients to Drink From Vases at UK Hospital

Hospital Bedside Glass of Water

by Jonathon M. Seidl

Daily Mail

November 23, 2010

Thirsty patients at a British hospital were so desperate for care and especially water that they had to drink from flower vases, family members claim.

Julie Bailey, one such family member whose mother Bella died at the hospital in question, said patients were left “screaming” out in pain on chaotic and under-staffed wards at Stafford Hospital. When she approached the hospital about the matter, she said it told her it could not leave water out overnight due to “health and safety.”

Bailey told her story to a panel looking into the situation, the Daily Mail reports.  But lack of water isn‘t Bailey’s only concern. She said her mother once collapsed after no staff were available to reconnect her disconnected oxygen supply.  According to the Daily Mail, Baily is just one of many who are worried about the government-run hospital. The paper reports that “it has been claimed that hundreds of patients died at the hospital, run by Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust, as a result of sub-standard treatment.”  That “sub-standard“ treatment includes accusations of putting ”cost-cutting ahead of patient welfare.”

Baily set up an organization, Cure the NHS, to draw attention to the facility and government’s failing national health system (NHS).  “The launch of the campaign,” the website says, “brought in many similar stories to ours. Their loved ones had been neglected or abused on those wards.”

Donald Berwick, director of the United States' CMS, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, has claimed a love affair with Britain's NHS, National Health Services, and it's government-run program, the public-sector equivalent of K-Mart.

Berwick has also praised the UK's National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), which had "developed very good and very disciplined, scientifically grounded, policy-connected models for the evaluation of medical treatments from which we ought to learn."

“In America, the best predictor of cost is supply; the more we make, the more we use—hospital beds, consultancy services, procedures, diagnostic tests,” Dr. Berwick wrote.  “… There, in the U.K.,  you choose a harder path. You plan the supply; you aim a bit low; you prefer slightly too little of a technology or a service to too much; then you search for care bottlenecks and try to relieve them.

Comparative-Effectiveness Research (CER) is the basis for the evaluation of methods of treatment and care between doctors and patients. In the Biotechnology interview, Dr. Berwick agrees that “mandatory compliance with CER directives could be dangerous, if you overdo the tightness of the connection between the knowledge of effectiveness and the rules of compliance. Then, you get into the ‘proletarianization’ of medicine — physicians, payers, and patients being told what to do instead of being able to use their own judgment. There’s a balance here between advisory declarations with enough knowledge that they really have some force, and requirements.”

"The more I have studied it, the more I believe that less discretion for doctors would improve patient safety," Berwick told the Boston Globe in 2004. "Doctors will hate me for saying that." This is where the "Death Panels" make the "Advisory Declarations" - whether you get treatment or not - live or die!

Dr. Berwick is a self-professed supporter of rationing health care. No one can not ignore his support for health care rationing and penchant toward "social justice" over medical quality.

Critics say his “love” and approach will eventually face the cost-cutting dilemma patients such as Julie Baily's mother have experienced first-hand.

“Any health care funding plan that is just equitable civilized and humane must, must redistribute wealth from the richer among us to the poorer and the less fortunate. Excellent health care is by definition redistributional.”

New Issue of the United States Currency

Gold is the currency of kings,
Silver is the currency of gentlemen,
Barter is the currency of peasants,
Debt is the currency of slaves.
  author unknown

Obama United States Global Currency Policy

~ If the United States debt keeps growing as rapidly as it has in the past 2 1/2 yrs., our country, as well as ‘the good people’ (us) of the US, will become the ‘slaves’ to our government and to the people/countries that we owe our debt to.

Our government will have to get the money from somewhere to pay down this debt, i.e. more and higher taxes to raise money to help pay off the debt our government created.

If the Fed keeps printing money at the current rate that they’re doing, we’ll never know the USA as we know it today.  It may sound radical, but it’s something every citizen should think and be concerned about. ~

Why Islam prefers strong, Immoral Men

In a video posted to YouTube on June 12, Salafi Shaykh Muhammad Hassan, a popular preacher in Egypt, explains why Islam prefers strong, immoral men over righteous, weak ones.
Salafi Sheikh Mohamed Hassan preaching on al-Rahma

The Prophet (peace be upon him), said…”Allah will support this religion through an immoral man.”

Watch a subtitled version of the full sermon

According to Translating Jihad, the Egyptian leader quotes Imam Ahmad, Ibn Taymiyya, and the Prophet Muhammad in making his case. Here are some text snippets:

If there are two men, and one of them is stronger spiritually, while the other is stronger physically, (the latter) is more beneficial to that nation. In war, for example, the strong man offers his courage, even if he is immoral or licentious. The weak man (only) offers his impotence, even if he is faithful…

Obama's Raw Deal

"Many a true word hath been
spoken in jest."
- the Roxburghe Ballad (circa 1665)

Time Magazine - November 2008

W.C.Fields published his first book, Fields for President, in 1940, an election year. As the only book he ever published, Fields for President is considered a unique collection of Fields’ comedy writing.

In poking fun at presidential candidate Franklin D. Roosevelt, Fields wrote:

"I shall, my fellow citizens, offer no such empty panaceas as a New Deal, or an Old Deal, or even a Re-Deal.  No, my friends, the reliable old False Shuffle was good enough for my father and it’s good enough for me."

Teed Off at the U.S. Open Golf Tournament

Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland holds the trophy.
Rory McIlroy, 22, holds the trophy after winning the 111th U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club on June 19, 2011, in Bethesda, MD. Look out Tiger Woods!

Teed Off at the U.S. Open Golf Tournament

NBC issued an on-air apology Sunday after the NBC network twice omitted the words "under God" from a clip of students reciting the Pledge of Allegiance during its coverage of golf's U.S. Open.

"We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago, and when we did it was our intent to begin the coverage of this U.S. Open championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship being held in our nation's capital for the third time," announcer Dan Hicks told viewers. "Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone, and we'd like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it." Does NBC think we voters are just plain stupid? ...We are upset and offended by their liberal after-the-fact lame OOPS-Apology!

What? Is this a propaganda test by the liberal anti-Judeo Christian mainstream media?... First time, shame on NBC for trying to get away with it; second time, shame on the viewers if they had let them get away with it!  The backlash on social media was quick and harsh, with some tweets calling for a boycott of NBC.... Hooray! The U.S. Voters are really aware of what is going on in the mainstream media!

VOTE OUT ALL PROGRESSIVE LIBERALS IN 2012!

Another issue:  The omission in the Pledge of Allegiance of the word “indivisible” was omitted.  Why? This is United States of America's nationalism being shouted out to the world.  Progressives deem it as arrogant and despise anyone who proudly says that the USA is the greatest nation in the world.

This part of the original version of the U.S. flag pledge was written just 30 years after the beginning of the Civil War and demonstrates the unity sought in the years after that divisive period in our history. The USA as a nation can not be separated and so should not be divided or alone.  All Americans stand indivisible, united in freedom.
 God Bless America!
