Teed Off at the U.S. Open Golf Tournament

Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland holds the trophy.
Rory McIlroy, 22, holds the trophy after winning the 111th U.S. Open at Congressional Country Club on June 19, 2011, in Bethesda, MD. Look out Tiger Woods!

Teed Off at the U.S. Open Golf Tournament

NBC issued an on-air apology Sunday after the NBC network twice omitted the words "under God" from a clip of students reciting the Pledge of Allegiance during its coverage of golf's U.S. Open.

"We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago, and when we did it was our intent to begin the coverage of this U.S. Open championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship being held in our nation's capital for the third time," announcer Dan Hicks told viewers. "Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone, and we'd like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it." Does NBC think we voters are just plain stupid? ...We are upset and offended by their liberal after-the-fact lame OOPS-Apology!

What? Is this a propaganda test by the liberal anti-Judeo Christian mainstream media?... First time, shame on NBC for trying to get away with it; second time, shame on the viewers if they had let them get away with it!  The backlash on social media was quick and harsh, with some tweets calling for a boycott of NBC.... Hooray! The U.S. Voters are really aware of what is going on in the mainstream media!

VOTE OUT ALL PROGRESSIVE LIBERALS IN 2012!

Another issue:  The omission in the Pledge of Allegiance of the word “indivisible” was omitted.  Why? This is United States of America's nationalism being shouted out to the world.  Progressives deem it as arrogant and despise anyone who proudly says that the USA is the greatest nation in the world.

This part of the original version of the U.S. flag pledge was written just 30 years after the beginning of the Civil War and demonstrates the unity sought in the years after that divisive period in our history. The USA as a nation can not be separated and so should not be divided or alone.  All Americans stand indivisible, united in freedom.
 God Bless America!
